Carbajal Appointed to U.S.-Mexico Interparliamentary Group

Today, Speaker Nancy Pelosi announced the appointment of Congressman Salud Carbajal (CA-24) to the U.S.-Mexico Interparliamentary Group for the 116th Congress:

“I’d like to the thank Speaker Pelosi for appointing me to the U.S.-Mexico Interparliamentary Group,” said Congressman Carbajal. “As a Mexican-American, I am committed to strengthening our alliance with our southern neighbor. Mexico is one our top trading partners as the second-largest buyer of U.S. goods and the third-largest consumer of U.S. agricultural products. Collaborating with Mexico is crucial to the strength of our economy and national security, and both of our countries prosper when we work together to promote peace and opportunity.”
