The House Appropriations Committee will be accepting Community Project Funding (CPF) requests from Members for Fiscal Year 2027. This is in addition to the standard programmatic and language-based requests. Each Member is limited to no more than 20 Community Project Funding requests, and there is no guarantee that all requested projects will be funded.

It is my privilege to represent the Central Coast of California in Congress. To ensure that I can advocate for federal investments and policy programs that best help our communities within California’s 24th Congressional District, it is important that I hear from my constituents directly on what should be prioritized within our federal appropriations process. 

If you are interested in submitting appropriations requests for Fiscal Year 2027 (FY27), please find our forms below.

GENERAL PROGRAMMATIC AND LANGUAGE REQUESTS:

A programmatic request is a request to fund a general federal agency or program at a specified level. For example: Provide $4,000,000,000 for the Low-Income Home Energy Assistance Program.

A language request is a request for bill or report language that does not direct funding to a particular entity but encourages, urges, or directs some type of action by an agency. For example: The Committee encourages the National Academy of Science to support research to reduce greenhouse gas emissions from the transportations sector.

Please use this form for all general programmatic and language appropriations requests. These are typically requests for overall funding levels or program language and do not name specific entities which will receive funding.

If you have a Community Project Funding (CPF) request, please complete this form. More information on the process, including eligible appropriations accounts, can be found on the House Appropriations Committee website. You can also look through my guidebook for FY27 for additional resources.

The deadlines for submitting CPF requests to my office are Friday, March 6, 2026, by 5:00 pm ET. For all projects, the requestor must complete the requisite CPF form, and provide the requisite background information, including letters of support from the local community (city/county/state officials).
