FY 2021 NDAA Requests & Appropriations Requests
To submit an FY21 National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) request, please fill out this form and return it to Samantha.Price@mail.house.gov by COB February 20, 2020.
To submit an FY21 appropriations request, please email your request directly to the relevant legislative staffer by issue area, noting any district nexus, by COB on the following dates:
- March 6th: SFOPS, CJS, LHHSEd, Ag
- March 10th: THUD, Energy & Water, Defense, MilConVA
- March 13th: Legislative Branch, Interior, FSGG, Homeland
Submission of your request does not create a binding commitment on any party nor a guarantee that any organization or program will be awarded funding from any federal agency through the appropriation process. Furthermore, the submission, review, and approval of applications for federal funding will be carried out consistent with federal agency rules and regulations. This request may be made publicly available.
The rules of the House of Representatives prohibits Representatives from requesting earmarks. Congressional earmarks are defined in House Rule XXI:
“[T]he term “congressional earmark” means a provision or report language included primarily at the request of a Member, Delegate, Resident Commissioner, or Senator providing, authorizing or recommend a specific amount of discretionary budget authority, credit authority, or other spending authority for a contract, loan, loan guarantee, grant, loan authority, or other expenditure with or to an entity, or targeted to a specific State, locality or Congressional district, other than through a statutory or administrative formula-driven or competitive award process.”
